Position Overview: The Administrative Manager supports REWI’s activities, working closely with and supporting the Executive Director as well as the research, outreach and engagement, communications, and operational functions of the organization. The position manages key administrative and development projects and initiatives and supports ongoing administrative and development-related activities. Key Responsibilities: The Manager’s responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

<li>Supporting Board &amp; Committee engagement, including scheduling meetings and calls, coordinating agenda and materials development, and taking notes and drafting minutes</li>
<li>Coordinating development efforts, including Partner and Friend fundraising and pledging and engagement with other potential or recent funders; specific activities will include:

<li>Providing administrative support to the Executive Director including conducting research and developing briefings, drafting correspondence, planning travel, creating itineraries, making reservations, and processing expense reimbursements</li>
<li>Providing general organizational administrative support, including making website updates; formatting documents; maintaining organizational calendars, files and shared mailboxes; supporting maintenance of REWI’s office/storage space in Washington, DC; and providing support for key REWI tech-based systems</li>

Qualifications:
We are seeking applicants with the following minimum qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) with at least four year of relevant work experience</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience working in non-profit administration and/or development</li>

Position Requirements
FORMAL KNOWLEDGE:

<li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>
<li>5+ years in a travel related field with emphasis on airline, hotel, rental car companies.</li>

Specialized Training or Knowledge:

<li>Knowledge and understanding of meeting and event planning principles, requirements, procedures, and available resources a plus.</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office.</li>

JOB SUMMARY 
Working independently, plans, develops, and designs compensation solutions that meet the short and long-term needs for the American Cancer Society. Reporting to the VP of Total Rewards, this leader will identify and recommend new and/or improved compensation programs and will ensure compliance with all legal requirements. This position will play a significant role in supporting the growth and performance of the American Cancer Society.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Drive global compensation programs (base salary, incentive programs and recognition) in line with business needs and values while ensuring the organization is in a competitive position in the marketplace, there is internal equity, and the organization is in compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide flexibility and local customization to account for cultural, legal and market differences</li>
