<li>Collect cash for open Accounts Receivable</li>

<li>Independently perform root cause analysis on customer issues.</li>
<li>Drive and Host conference calls to find resolution to issues and resolve past due</li>
<li>Provide internal/external customer ad hoc reporting and/or statements</li>
<li>Independently summarize and present findings from account reconciliations to customer and internal Staples Teams, including Sales Rep, Director and AVP, Customer Setup and Contract Gateway Teams.</li>

What you bring to the table:
<ul>
<li>Understanding of customer ordering platforms and how billing is integrated into that platform</li>
<li>Excellent written skills and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to approach customers with a customer service type approach.</li>
<li>Promote strong collaborative relationships between the Collections teams and all other internal teams, especially Sales and Customer Service Relationship building with Staples customers.</li>
<li>Ability to research Accounts Receivable issues and reconcile payment remittances.</li>
<li>Broad ERP Experience in large systems (Oracle, SAP etc.)</li>
<li>Intermediate and higher skills in Excel</li>
<li>Strong presentation skills such as PP, Agendas, Note taking</li>

Basic Function: 
The basic function of this position is to supervise the Collections staff in the Eastern and Western sites. Provide immediate assistance to the Collections Representatives to perform their daily tasks and meet departmental standards and deadlines. Incumbent is responsible for handling escalated calls from credit card members, training new representatives on their responsibilities and identifying future training needs. Incumbent will develop and manage present and new process initiatives regarding the auto dialer product. Incumbent will also perform various support duties to maintain smooth operation of the department.
Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Monitor and manage daily to ensure the department’s standards are met or exceeded; monitoring agents to ensure performance is within department standards. Assist with coordinating all new business and custom requests with IT, Member Development, Support, Marketing, Member Services, and Financial Services. Collaborate with IT in accomplishing auto dialer communications objectives within the framework of overall goals and objectives.</li>
<li>Manage the skip tracing unit within collections to include, managing the batch interface with a third party vendor, handling skip volume forwarded from the collection floor, maintaining productivity to meet unit standards on a monthly basis, ensure locate rates meet industry and departmental standards.</li>
<li>Interface with staff and management at member credit unions, other PSCU departments, FDR, and third party vendors on problem escalation and research.</li>
<li>Act as an escalation point for critical issues and problem resolution in researching and responding to escalated credit union inquiries regarding Collections and Teleservices. Maintain thorough understanding of FDR, FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, and State Debt Collection Laws as well as telemarketing laws and procedures.</li>
<li>Prepare and deliver performance evaluations and other employee reviews or coaching sessions as necessary. Conduct employee counseling and monitor corrective action as necessary. Regularly monitor calls to ensure quality of service and review daily productivity and schedule adherence.</li>
<li>Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly department statistics for trends and opportunities for improvement.</li>
<li>Verify and maintain the representative’s timecards and productivity reports.</li>
<li>Participate in continuous quality process improvement to promote operational efficiency as related to Collections and Teleservices.</li>

Pay Equity
PSCU is committed to pay equity and a competitive benefits package. The hiring amount for this position based on relevant experience and internal equity; the pay range is:

The Position:

Your role&nbsp;The key thing here is that we are a Series A rapidly growing startup where the Finance function is still taking shape. You will be responsible for the day-to-day processing and collections of the receivables function. The role will be involved with plenty of ad hoc work as required and it will provide the successful candidate with a challenge and the ability to provide recommendations to improve the existing processes in the areas of AR, Credit Control, and cash management. The position will be hands on, responsible for all processing, credit control management and operational reporting of the receivables function.
Duties &amp; Responsibilities
• Take a proactive role in the entire order to cash process at Omnipresent.
• Accurate and timely processing of customer invoices and credit notes in line with local sales tax (VAT, GST, S&amp;UT etc.) regulation, providing input into periodic returns.
• Completeness reconciliations as billing at Omnipresent progresses through various phases of automation and development.
• Reconcile and review customer accounts preparing statements as and when required.
• Manage daily cash receipts processing and bank statement data loads into the ERP system ensuring cash allocation of all items to the AR ledger.
• Answer all inbound queries associated with customer accounts and liaise with internal departments to ensure that issues are resolved quickly and accurately.
• Actively chase overdue debtors to ensure timely collection.
• Collaborate with internal parties to investigate and resolve client queries within a timely manner.
• Continuously build and develop customer relationships.
• Meet cash collection, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) cashflow targets/ KPIs set by management.
• Prepare and post journals to the AR ledger as required.
• Provide support in the preparation of weekly and monthly management reporting to the Finance Director (FD) and CFO.
• Evaluate customers for credit requests as required and ensure adherence to trade credit insurance policy.
• Negotiate payment plans, as required, with the approval of the FinOps Manager and/or FD/CFO.
• Liaise with solicitors if legal proceedings are initiated.

• At least 3-5 years billing and collections experience.
• IT literate with good working knowledge and experience of excel and NetSuite.
• Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts.
• Experience of online collaboration tools or portals.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, commercially focused environment and able to adapt to change quickly.
• A proactive, self-motivated individual with problem-solving skills and ability to work well both on an individual basis and a team situation
