The Human Resources Compliance Specialist focuses on pre-employment and post-employment background and drug screening requirements. Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Complete, check, and process pre-employment background checks using third party vendors.</li>
<li>Complete, check, and process pre-employment, and post-employment random drug screenings in compliance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.</li>
<li>Complete and process post-employment reasonable suspicion drug testing in accordance with company policy and state regulations.</li>
<li>Accurately maintain records.</li>
<li>Data managed may include personal information; job history; retirement and insurance documentation; leave accrual records; and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression.</li>
<li>Respond to inquiries and assist employees and managers in completing any drug and background tasks.</li>
<li>Responsible for basic employee file maintenance. Reports to HR Compliance Manager.</li>
<li>Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.</li>
<li>Perform other routine administrative activities according to the organization’s established procedures.</li>

This position reports to the Head of Third-Party Risk Management.
As a Third-Party Risk Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:

We are seeking a highly motivated Fraud Risk Analyst who will develop, test, and implement a risk mitigation framework to protect our financial services offerings from fraudulent activity. Your top priority will be to develop a nuanced understanding of the ways in which our services may be vulnerable and subsequently using this understanding to devise systems and processes which bring our risk exposure in line with our risk appetite. Title: Payroll &amp; Compliance Specialist (Remote)
Location: Remote, United States
Squarespace is looking for an accomplished Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll function to meet the needs of our growing company. You will work on our Finance team and partner with People Operations and Legal.
The Finance Team builds compliant processes that ensure seamless support of our growing organization. As the next member of our team, your work will support this through the preparation, distribution, and reporting of our payroll.
You will report to our Payroll and Compliance Manager and can be based out of our New York headquarters or remotely in an approved location.

<h3>You’ll Get To…</h3>
<ul>
<li>Providing accurate and efficient payroll processing of a 1,500+ growing global workforce, this currently includes three US payrolls and six International</li>
<li>Manage batch input spreadsheets for upload into payroll system. Must be able to take a spreadsheet and format it for proper upload into the payroll system.</li>
<li>Process pre payroll checklists including audits and balancing – prior to submitting final payroll.</li>
<li>Payment of special transactions such as off cycle payments, retroactive pay, garnishments, and other statutory deductions</li>
<li>Reconcile W-2 forms to ensure accurate entry of all compensation transactions, and quarterly Federal and State returns and amendments</li>
<li>Help audit employee records in HRIS (Workday &amp; ADP WorkforceNow), in partnership with HR Generalists and Finance, to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date</li>
<li>Resolve all payroll discrepancies, process semi-weekly adjustments, and answer employee inquiries</li>
<li>Prepare 401(k) balancing and funding</li>
<li>Coordinate with Accounting team to provide pay period end close activities and requests</li>
<li>Partner with Payroll Manager and supporting departments to help with opportunities to test and automate current processes that promote efficiency and streamlining payroll processes</li>
<li>Perform other duties and special projects as assigned or as responsibilities dictate</li>
</ul>
<h3>Who We’re Looking For</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience in Federal, State, and Local labor laws, payroll tax requirements, payroll regulations and industry changes that affect payroll operations</li>
<li>Experience with payroll systems (Workday, ADP WorkforceNow, ADP SmartCompliance)</li>
<li>Proven hands-on experience with a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail</li>
<li>Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency and ability to work with large datasets</li>
<li>Experience processing end-to-end payroll at a small to mid sized organization</li>
<li>Capability to handle confidential and sensitive information</li>
<li>A deep understanding of Payroll practices, legislation and regulation</li>
<li>Experience working in global, multi-state private and public companies</li>
<li>Certified Payroll Professional certification (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll certification FPC</li>

<h3>Cash Compensation Range: $57,000 – $97,000 USD</h3>
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, qualifications and experience, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
