Talent Development Specialist – remote eligible

The Talent Development Specialist role will add subject matter expertise and analytic capabilities not currently represented on the team. 
The Talent Development Specialist is responsible for overseeing successful project management and delivery for individual-, team-, and organization-level surveys and assessments; associate engagement survey administration is an area of particular focus 
The Talent Development Specialist will also work on survey content, statistical analyses, action plans, and impact measurement for various survey and assessment efforts. 
In addition, this role may support initiatives across Learning, Leadership &amp; Organization Effectiveness, including project scoping, data collection/analysis, and preparing and delivering presentations.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Lead survey and assessment projects from inception through execution, including design, data collection, reporting, and follow-up action plan activities associated with targeted surveys (e.g., associate experience, exit).</li>
<li>Conduct analyses on survey and assessment results to identify key drivers of business-relevant outcomes; interpret results to uncover opportunities for action and development.</li>
<li>Develop measures and metrics to gauge the effectiveness of an entire project.</li>
<li>Synthesize best practice research and concepts to inform enterprise talent management initiatives in the employee engagement, survey, and assessment areas.</li>
<li>Provide advice to HR Business Partners on techniques for defining, measuring, communicating, and taking action on associate engagement surveys and initiatives.</li>
<li>Creation of analytics, processes, and project plans for organizational effectiveness initiatives that support Dollar Tree’s company priorities</li>
<li>Creation of leader assessments and targeted surveys that drive insight and action along associate engagement</li>
<li>Subject matter expertise provided to HR colleagues and business leaders across multiple areas of the Industrial-Organizational Psychology profession (e.g., survey design, statistical analysis, individual assessment for selection and development)</li>
</ul>
Requirements: 
At least 2 years of work experience as an internal or external consultant in talent management, organization development, or organization effectiveness.
Technical/Professional Skills:
<ul>
<li>Possesses exceptional project management, work coordination, facilitation, and consultation skills</li>
<li>Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; is comfortable delivering presentations to a wide range of audiences</li>
<li>Demonstrates problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic environments</li>
<li>Must be able to work autonomously and balance multiple projects simultaneously</li>
<li>Expertise using spreadsheet and data analysis software</li>
</ul>
Education:
<ul>
<li>MS/MA Degree in Organization Development, Industrial Organizational-Psychology, or related field.</li>

As the Senior Market Insights Analyst, you will support the VP of Operations and Academic Affairs and will drive research insights to help us identify the largest opportunities to spearhead our strategic planning.
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Engage with business teams, product and business leaders to bring research insight to critical questions about drivers of business growth</li>
<li>Develop a research roadmap and proactively communicate your agenda, building alignment with management and seeking input from relevant teams</li>
<li>Work with external research vendors to scope feasibility and implement this agenda</li>
<li>Apply your expertise to guide the choice of research methods used. Innovate in the way we conduct research.</li>
<li>Transform data into concrete and compelling insights, identifying implications for strategies and plans</li>
<li>Communicate insights and strategic implications in a way that is easily understood and that moves our business teams toward action</li>
<li>Influence decision makers at multiple levels in the organization to embrace market insights in strategy development</li>
</ul>
<h3>Skills and Experience</h3>
Required:
<ul>
<li>5+ years of Market Research experience or experience driving market research/competitive analysis at a start-up</li>
<li>Experience with a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including secondary research. Able to have a thoughtful discussion with vendor partners about research design, methodology and analyses.</li>
<li>Able to elevate key and concise implications from research, flexibly tailoring communication to varied audiences and management levels</li>
<li>Experience applying insights to influence strategy. Able to connect the dots between different sources of information, and to infer strategic implications</li>
<li>Able to articulate research requirements to vendors, manage relationships and commercial terms, and oversee the process end-to-end from survey design all the way through to insight presentation</li>
<li>Comfortable in a lean start up organisation with multiple stakeholders with differing needs</li>
</ul>
Preferred:
<ul>
<li>Experience working in EdTech</li>
<li>Experience working at a B2C app startup</li>
<li>Experience working with product and marketing teams on executing a strategic roadmap</li>
<li>Experience working on research for a SaaS or marketplace product</li>

<h3>The Role:</h3>
The Data &amp; Insights team are building the foundations to support Paddle’s growth and demand for commercial data. This is an exciting time to join, where you will be part of a team migrating to a scalable BI stack and driving proactive business insights to impact our Go-to-Market strategy.
The Data &amp; Insights team are responsible for all aspects of data modelling in the commercial functions, including but not limited to: business forecasting, revenue planning, demand generation pipeline, and ABM reporting.
The role of the Data &amp; Insights Analyst is to support commercial functions in understanding their data, both on an ad hoc and project basis. This includes capturing and understanding business requirements, designing and deploying appropriate data models and presenting insights derived from this data to enable operational performance.
<h3>What you’ll do:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Contribute to the development of Data and Insights projects end-to-end:
<ul>
<li>Work on scoped briefs under the guidance of the Data and Insights Manager and Senior Analysts.</li>
<li>Work with CRM, Marketing data, product data, .csv files and several other data sources through usage of Excel and SQL.</li>
<li>Create best-in-class dashboards and visualizations to drive maximum insight from Paddle’s data.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other members of the Data &amp; Insights, and broader Revenue Operations team.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Become a subject matter expert on Paddle commercial data.</li>
<li>Collaborate on the development of self-serve initiatives across the business to support both technical and non-technical teams with data discovery and drawing actionable insights.</li>
<li>Contribute to strategic planning by deriving insights and recommendations from projects and reporting, to help shape the direction of the commercial business. Including but not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Business Intelligence dashboarding.</li>
<li>Data discovery.</li>
<li>Development of industry knowledge and best practices.</li>
<li>Customer revenue modelling</li>

<h3>We’d love to hear from you if you have:</h3>

<li>Strong commercial experience in SQL and Excel. Experience with Python is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience driving insights from complex datasets.</li>
<li>Strong data visualisation and presentation techniques.</li>
<li>Exposure to BI and ETL tools, such as Sisense, Looker, Tableau and PowerBI. Working knowledge of dbt and Snowflake is a plus.</li>
