<h3>The Role </h3>
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. 
Oyster is growing fast, and we are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to take a lead in our international reporting. You will play a key part in developing Oyster’s finance function, owning relationships with 3rd party accountants and developing our finance team across the globe.
<h3>What you’ll do…</h3>
<ul>
<li>Focus on accounting process improvement for scale including preparing documentation and training materials for the team.</li>
<li>Supervision, mentoring and training of accounting staff</li>
<li>Manage the relationship with our local accounting firms, ensure compliance filings are accurate and filed on time</li>
<li>Prepare/review balance sheet and other types of reconciliations</li>
<li>Analyze financial information, identify trends, errors or opportunities for improvement</li>
<li>Prepare technical accounting memos</li>
<li>Ad hoc projects and analysis</li>
</ul>
<h3>What we’re looking for </h3>
<ul>
<li>You have at least 5 years experience of working in an accounting role</li>
<li>Hold a qualified accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA)</li>
<li>You have experience managing a team</li>
<li>Experience in software/Saas industry</li>
<li>You have prior experience of working at a high-growth scale-up, or in a fast-changing environment</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and love problem solving</li>
<li>Organized and efficient at managing multiple projects at once</li>
<li>Advanced Excel</li>
<li>[BONUS] Experience of Netsuite or similar tool</li>
<li>[BONUS] Proficient in Google Suite of products (Gmail, Google Doc, Google Sheets)</li>
</ul>
