Note: This is a remote role but will need to overlap with East Africa Time zones for at least three hours per day for meetings.
Role overview:
As Partnerships Manager, you will help drive new and innovative funding partnerships with foundations, institutions, and corporations in collaboration with GiveDirectly’s operations and research teams. You will manage major grants and related reporting for new and recurring partners; develop and maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities; build and scale internal tracking, reporting and opportunity sourcing processes; and manage the completion of concept notes and full proposals. You are highly organized, a strong verbal and written communicator, and solutions-oriented, and you thrive when working at the nexus of several fast-moving teams.

Core functions will include:

<li>Writing:
<ol>
<li>Owning the end-to-end drafting of funding proposals, pitches, concept notes, grantee reports, and more, for a variety of audiences.</li>
<li>Partnering with funders and operations teams to design core program parameters for proposals and communicate them effectively.</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Project &amp; Knowledge Management:
<ol>
<li>Owning the proposal development process from identification to submission, including managing colleagues across teams in contributing high quality material as needed.</li>
<li>Developing high quality, brand-accurate core content for the organization, including one pagers, proposal FAQs, standard pitch decks, templates etc.</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Relationship Management and Communications:
<ol>
<li>Building and scaling systems for gold standard relationship management and grants administration (including regular update calls, customised proposals, and reports).</li>
<li>Managing relationships with assigned funders, including day to day informal and formal communications and presentations.</li>
<li>Managing ongoing grant agreements (reporting and compliance requirements) in collaboration with the compliance team.</li>

<li>Donor Acquisition and Retention:
<ol>
<li>Running full sales cycles, building a coalition of funders passionate about direct giving.</li>
<li>Providing pitch materials for management team outreach to potential funders.</li>
<li>Maintaining relationships with current partners and tracking their strategic priorities.</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Pipeline Management and Analytics:
<ol>
<li>Contributing to GiveDirectly’s growing fundraising pipeline and tracking performance against ambitious fundraising goals.</li>
<li>Identifying opportunities for improved analytics (via dashboards, processes, trackers, etc.) proactively and implementing ideas.</li>

What we’re looking for:
An individual with (i) a strong drive to take ownership who enjoys writing and project management, (ii) a desire to work in a fast-paced team, and (iii) an interest in maximizing GiveDirectly’s impact by building, managing, and scaling relationships and projects with GiveDirectly’s partners.

Compensation
At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. We use an accredited third party salary aggregator to ensure that staff’s&nbsp;total compensation&nbsp;package (base compensation + bonus) falls within the 75th percentile of similar roles, at similar organizations. We also have a no negotiation policy to ensure we are paying staff equitably across roles.
The&nbsp;United States base salary is $85K USD&nbsp;for this role. It is benchmarked at the country level, so if you are working from another country, this will be adjusted to the local market. We do not allow negotiation of salary for the sake of equity in the organization across position levels.
This role is fully remote, so if you are not based in the US, we will share an estimated salary benchmark for the country you are based in during the hiring process.

Market Growth / Development / Account Management / Sales
<ul>
<li>Research and build up a network of tourism players with a focus on destination marketing organizations</li>
<li>Look after our partners from the tourism sector in Italy &amp; Spain, both in digitally supported day-to-day business and on site</li>
<li>Help your partners be successful on komoot by onboarding them to our in-house Komoot Academy</li>
<li>Manage a portfolio of hundreds of B2B partners and support them with visitor guidance, community engagement, campaign planning and execution</li>
<li>Drive lead generation and acquisition with complete control over your sales activities to ensure our joint sales and revenue goals are reached</li>
<li>Use traditional and digital channels or find new, creative ways to feed the partnerships &amp; sales funnel</li>
<li>Sell targeted Sponsored Collections – komoot’s native ads – to tourism destinations, transport companies, and other players in the outdoor industry</li>
<li>Drive performance-optimization efforts and ensure our B2B partners are getting the best value possible</li>
<li>Monitor the competitor market while keeping an eye on relevant e-commerce KPIs</li>
<li>Work closely with the Brand/Editorial team to deliver tailor-made content to your partners</li>
<li>Work closely with the Marketing/Community Team for Italy &amp; Spain</li>

<li>You have the flexibility and skills to handle everything from small to very complex deals and account management and optimize our partners’ success on komoot.</li>
<li>You are a structured thinker with a strong intuition on priorities &amp; trade-offs</li>
<li>You are familiar with selling complex products with a long-term lifespan</li>
<li>You think cold calling is a breeze and sales is in your DNA.</li>
<li>You speak Italian and Spanish on a native/business fluent level.</li>
<li>Words like CTR, CPC, bounce, or interaction rates mean something to you.</li>
<li>You have solid experience setting up and optimizing digital marketing campaigns.</li>
<li>You like working in a team – lone wolves won’t enjoy this environment.</li>
<li>You show tremendous empathy for our partners across all relevant stakeholders and understand their needs</li>
<li>You are well connected in the tourism sector and have a strong network of contacts (e.g., from your current role, agency, etc.).</li>

The International Coaching Federation &amp; Foundation (ICF) is the largest resource for business and personal coaches, representing more than 40,000 members and 30,000 credential holders. ICF supports and preserves the integrity of coaching through standards supported by the individual membership.
The Strategic Partnership Manager plays a critical role in supporting execution of ICF’s strategy and business growth. This individual will identify, negotiate, and manage alliances and partnerships that assist the organization in meeting its strategic business objectives, broaden the reach to potential customers, and accelerate growth within selected relationships that has executed a formal agreement with the ICF.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
<ul>
<li>Identify, negotiate, and manage organizational partnerships that will broaden ICF’s market reach and accelerate growth.</li>
<li>Develop plans for identifying, engaging, and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships or alliances, including the development of all appropriate communications demonstrating the value of potential partnership opportunities.</li>
<li>Responsible for managing relationships with client executives and top decision makers among our strategic account base to grow ICF’s customer offering beyond current products and services.</li>
<li>This person will lead thinking on new business models and drive joint business development between ICF and its partners in this space.</li>
<li>Consult with each ICF FO and the impacted ICF GE Departments to confirm the overall viability of each partnership using a project management approach will be applied to evaluate any new project or tactic that would result from a new strategic partnership.</li>
<li>Serve multiple leadership and project management functionseach of which suggest varying degrees of task responsibility.</li>
<li>Research potential partners and develops list of prospects to support special initiatives.</li>
<li>Cultivates relationships with appropriate connections.</li>
<li>Writes strong proposals and presentations.</li>
</ul>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree required and minimum of 7+ years of experience growing, leading, and developing business organizations in association management or nonprofit management.</li>
<li>Proven ability in managing strategic partnership programs required.</li>
<li>Self-motivated, action oriented, analytical, and strategic thinker who can roll up sleeves in getting things done with an ability to drive strategic direction.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills working with internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Result and achievement focused individual with proven track record.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, sound judgment, and the ability to listen and synthesize information.</li>
<li>Strong verbal communications and demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively.</li>
