As the VP of Operations and Growth of Fantasy, you will act as a key leader of the Fantasy vertical, overseeing many important aspects. You’ll be responsible for driving the short and long term success of the business line by continuing to create and build unique value.

<h3>What you’ll do:</h3>

<li>Own and be responsible for the growth, profitability, operations, short, and long term strategy of Underdog’s fantasy business</li>
<li>Build out, enhance, and scale current processes around all operational teams that touch the fantasy business</li>
<li>Grow and optimize the fantasy business line by using quantitative and qualitative data points to increase top line revenue and maximize profitability</li>
<li>Define, monitor, and report on KPIs to the management team</li>
<li>Manage and mentor the fantasy operating teams (35+) while building additional structure and process</li>
<li>Expand Underdog’s capabilities in the areas of revenue operations, growth, and data surrounding these functions</li>
<li>Work cross-functionally across all departments of the business (operations, marketing, engineering, product, finance, etc.) to ensure success</li>
<li>Find ways to integrate fantasy and other verticals, with a strong emphasis on cross sell</li>
<li>Be in tune with the voice of the customer and quickly respond in ways that are on brand</li>

About The Role:
TodayTix Group is seeking a VP of Operations and Sales, Goldstar to run our national supply team. Goldstar is an industry leading primary ticket sales marketplace that is dedicated to making live entertainment more accessible. We work directly with thousands of theatres, comedians, musicians, magicians, food festivals and all kinds of live entertainment. Besides our apps and website, we power a number of other large name brand marketplaces including TodayTix regionally.
Sitting on the Goldstar Executive Leadership Team and reporting to the Brand’s General Manager, we are looking for a high performing leader to manage our supply team, develop new and novel ways to acquire supply in the live events ticketing space at scale, and ensure that our overall operation runs efficiently. This position will focus on developing strong relationships with our industry partners and ensure that our sales operations are second to none.

The salary range for this role is $180k – $250k plus additional incentives. Salary ranges are determined by competitive market data for our size, stage, industry, experience and location of the applicant, and our internal salary banding, which is reviewed bi-annually.

In your role as a Vice President of Marketing, you will be our customer expert (how they buy and their buying criteria) and will transfer that knowledge to our sales channel.
<h3>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Positioning and messaging develop and maintain product positioning and messaging that differentiates our product in the market.</li>
<li>Content marketing regular contributions to our company blog, our marketing website, as well as other product management publications, white papers, and other writing related projects.</li>
<li>Demand generation develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for our product, with a specific focus on organic and paid search programs.</li>
<li>Sales enablement communicate the value proposition of our product to the sales team, develop sales tools that support the selling process, as well as manage and maintain our marketing automation programs.</li>
<li>Market intelligence be our customer expert (how they buy and their buying criteria); be the expert on our competition and how to dominate the roadmap market.</li>
<li>Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new marketing team members</li>
<li>Coaching and motivating team to meet specific OKRs</li>
<li>Developing regular marketing objectives</li>
<li>Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach marketing targets and expand the customer base</li>
<li>Reporting consistently and accurately on key performance indicators to enable the leadership team to make better decisions</li>
<li>Collaborating with sales, customer success, and product management teams</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Experience, Education, &amp; Skills: :</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 10 years of B2B industry experience (SaaS preferred)</li>
<li>Product management domain expertise is a huge plus</li>
<li>Minimum of 6 years experience leading teams, including leaders at the director and manager level</li>
<li>Strong written communication skills are required</li>
<li>Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues and cross-functional teams, as well as third parties</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred</li>
</ul>
