The Role
We are looking for part-time, passionate biology tutors who are dedicated to making education accessible to join our thriving tutoring community!
Make a difference in the lives of students nationwide by providing them the attention they need to be successful in their course work. This is a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of a new tutoring quality initiative aimed at defining how to be the best tutor possible online. Expect to work around 20 – 25 hours a week and earn $18/hour, all from the comfort of your own office. Tutors are needed Monday through Sunday, giving you the opportunity to work the days that best fit your schedule.
What You’ll Do

<li>Provide students 1:1 live tutoring sessions through video, audio, and chat</li>
<li>Tutor in K-8 foundational skills focused in biology</li>
<li>Encourage and guide students to successfully solve problems</li>
<li>Use a diverse range of virtual tools within the tutoring environment to assist students in engaging, exciting, and fun ways</li>
<li>Document best tutoring practices to help enhance positive student outcomes and be a part of a continuous feedback loop where your input will be valued</li>
<li>Attend knowledge-sharing sessions with product, engineering, operations, and our tutor team to help continuously improve the tutor and student experience</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>BA preferred or pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant field </li>
<li>Strong command of the English language</li>
<li>At least one year of working closely with students in an academic setting</li>
<li>Experience teaching or tutoring in biology</li>
<li>Passion for helping students learn and leverage technology</li>
<li>Ability to assist students through multiple communication channels</li>
<li>Ability to work from home with minimum disruptions</li>

Compensation and Benefits:

Bundle instructors are the highly qualified for their expertise. With a minimum of 5 years experience in their field, and 3 years teaching experience, Bundle instructors provide our members with personalized support based on the member’s needs.
Bundle prides itself on creating detailed lesson plans with all necessary resources, so our instructors have the least amount of administrative time and can focus on what they do best – teaching. Bundle offers both 30-minute and 60-minute Breaks with individuals and small groups of all ages, all in a virtual setting.
Instructors are compensated based upon a combination of their education, training, experience, certifications, the length of the Break, and the number of participants in a Break. Given that our instructors never need to create their own lesson plans or pull their own resources, our rates are very competitive. This is a contracted position.
Bundle is seeking tutors to lead our members in Breaks related to high school math at all levels. A successful candidate will have prior experience as a math tutor and a teaching certificate is a plus.

Sessions are typically 30, 45, or 60 minutes.&nbsp;As a Littera tutor you will have the flexibility to choose when you are available to tutor.&nbsp;You could tutor for one or multiple schools.
Please note this is a contract remote position and is not full-time.&nbsp;This role is perfect for you if you are interested in earning supplemental income with a flexible schedule, typically between the hours of 8am-7pm. We do not guarantee a set number of hours per week.
