What you’ll work with

• Maintain our existing codebase that serves hundreds of thousands of users daily
• Implement new features with an eye on delivering impact and value to our users

What we expect from you

• 4+ years of experience with PHP, JavaScript and HTML
• You are comfortable with legacy codebases as well as the latest tools and technologies
• Experience with at least one of these frameworks: Angular, AngularJS or VueJS
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Ability to write and optimize complex queries in MySQL
• Knowledge of Redis and queues
• Can work across codebases and platforms
• Ability to write clean code with test coverage
• Ability to build scalable applications
• Love for complex, advanced codebases
• Self-starter with an investigative mindset for thinking out of the box
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• A sense of personal responsibility

• Familiarity with other languages (NodeJS, Golang, Ruby)
• Knowledge of any PHP framework (we mostly use Laravel)
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch

• Yearly gross salary range: $55,000-$75,000
